My husband said I’ve been training to write this article since the day he met me.

Look, he’s not wrong. I have a very strong obsession with home décor. It’s so important to me that each room in our home makes me feel exactly how I want to when I walk in, and that others feel welcome and cosy too. I have also perfected the art of convincing my husband that ‘this’ exact vase or ‘that’ entire collection of books will help me achieve said vibe. #Skills.

I have a few go to stores that never disappoint when I’m on the hunt for a new piece, which, *sigh*, I’m willing to share with you all… you’re welcome. Between my obsession and a few faves from the Perth Happenings team, our list of Perth’s Best Homewares Stores is born. Prepare yourself for one hell of a shopping spree…

La Luna Seven – Inglewood

For dreamy bar cart styling, on trend furniture pieces, luxurious coffee table books and stunning wall art. Bonus, they stock a wonderful collection of giftware too.

Empire Homewares – Claremont, Melville, Osborne Park, Dunsborough

For wonderfully artistic upholstered seating, natural form timber tables, statement bookshelves and swoon worthy earthenware. Oh, and shearling sofas. Yep. *heart eyes*

The Furniture Gallery – Osborne Park and Joondalup

I only recently discovered this gem of a store. With such a huge collection you are bound to fall in love with more than you bargained for. Visit for statement dining chairs, French provincial style bookcases, stunning occasional chairs and honestly, everything in between.

Panache Home Living – Guildford

I challenge you to leave this store without a new treasure for your display shelves. Stocking a range of homeware trinkets from home fragrance and faux blooms, to unique soft furnishings in the form of cushions and floor rugs that can turn around any room in your home.

Natalie Jayne Interiors – Highgate

For all things glam. I have never wanted so many occasional chairs as when I’m drifting around this beautifully curated store; I kid you not – my house doesn’t have enough corners. Plus statement coffee tables and lamps to die for around every corner.

Angove St Collective – North Perth

These guys are preparing for one hell of a post-covid return. An amazing space stocking artisan homewares from some talented makers.
