Take a journey into Indonesian culture and creativity with this unique season of made-for-television dramas, feature films, documentaries and animation. Jalan Jalan Indonesia is a free program showcasing contemporary Indonesian films and television programs, screening at the State Library of WA, Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 April.
Program highlights include the multi-award-winning, anime-inspired feature, The Battle of Surabaya; the hilarious comedy-drama Onde Mande! (The Prize); the powerful environmental documentary Pulau Plastik (Plastic Island); documentaries revealing Indonesia’s Best Ever Destinations and Best Ever Eats, and the coming-of-age ‘dramedy’, Soulbeats.
Plus much, much more!
- Screenings 10.00am-5.00pm daily, Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st April.
- Admission is free but bookings are recommended.
