So it’s gotten chilly here in Perth and sometimes in the wet winter months we can get a little bogged down with all the things we cannot do and forget to look outside the box at all the fun things we can still do no matter the weather.

MUG N BRUSH

Got creativity running through your veins? Mug n Brush have created a fun, creative space for both kids and adults alike. I think its safe to say we have all coloured in with a child and then have gotten super protective and proud of one’s artwork. This is why I love Mug n Brush they have got projects for the adults too; they haven’t forgotten that every adult has an inner child and loves to get involved just as much as their kids.

MOTOR MUSEUM OF WA

For those lovers of all things cars and engines, the Motor Museum of WA is a must-visit! From vintage cars, motorcycles to muscle cars there is a something here for all motor enthusiasts. In my very humble opinion, coming from someone with no great knowledge of cars apart from how to drive one, my favourite exhibit is the Red bull RB 10, F1 racecar which is currently on long term loan by Daniel Ricciardo. It was the car that provided him with a great entry into the top league of Formula One racing!! So cool!

IFLY

Sky diving – They say there is no better feeling in the world then flying, but maybe you are not quite up to throwing yourself out of a perfectly good plane to experience the sensation.

This is where iFLY is different. At iFLY, you don’t jump or fall, you fly gently on a cushion of controlled air with a qualified instructor. It gives you a safe, fun alternate to jumping out of a plane and flyers can be as young as 3 years old and there is no age cap!

Craig and I at IFLY PERTH

My husband took me for my birthday. I watched a whole family fly before me, and I was a touch nervous, It must have shown on my face as the 5-year boy from the family group patted my back and told me I’d love it “Didn’t you just see me? It’s easy”. He was right, the feeling is truly something else, it is almost unbelievable that you are floating and moving on air – you are inside a giant wind tunnel that pushes you up, and you gently fly up on the air cushion.

iFLY is a fully inclusive and accessible activity, suitable for all-abilities. All indoors – a great year round activity to try.

iFLY Perth is located at:143 Great Eastern Freeway, Rivervale, Perth, WA 6103

Everything from beautiful coloured corals to exotic fish, there are so many experiences to be had at AQWA that you will find that one visit is not enough, the kids will love it!
