5 star review fringe 2023

They’re loud! They’re noisy! They think they’re musical geniuses (but we’re not convinced 🧐). They are the Listies!

Filled with side-splitting humour about musicians, funny musical props, and jokes about rodeos (and the occasional bum crack!), this show will make you laugh so much you may find tears in your eyes.

During the show, you’ll be treated to Richard’s Musical Corner where, with the help of Matt’s silly slideshows, everyone will receive a Musical Education like nowhere else they’ve ever had before. Be sure to refresh your memory about all the different kinds of instruments available out there before you start this class with Richard – it comes in handy!

And the highlight of the show? Meeting Baby! He’s cute, he blows kisses, and all he wants is his iPad. Adults and children will be laughing non-stop when the ‘third’ cast member of the show comes out to meet everyone.

With catchy songs that’ll have you dancing in your seat, you will laugh, squeal and face-palm as the silly duo fumble and stumble on stage. The show has great interaction and engagement with the audience, and some lucky kids will even be called down to join the Listies as they prepare for their Audience Orchestra. If you know how to burp loudly – be sure to put up your hand when the time comes!

If there’s ever two people with excellent stage presence and who work very well together (when they’re not teasing each other), Richard and Matthew as the Listies are it! A must-see for ages 4 to 400!
