Where to Find the Coolest Handmade Shops in Perth!
The Perth Makers Market is easily one of the best handmade markets in Perth, offering an insane variety of over 160 handmade stalls manned by local businesses and creatives alike. Whilst PMM events occur regularly across the year, if you can’t make it down or just need your handmade fix ASAP – have no fear! We have put together a list of 3 awesome handmade shops who have their own stores you can visit during the week.
C + Co – Multiple Locations
Run by the delightful Claire Tincey at Westfield Carousel and Innaloo, C + Co is an Artisan Collective featuring locally designed and crafted products from an array of over 50 local WA creatives.
C + Co stock all their brands exclusively, meaning you won’t find two similar brands in store – each is totally unique! This limits competition and creates a super-supportive retail environment for all the brands on show. From humble beginnings at the Freo Markets, C +Co now offer a range of collections including candles and diffusers, jewellery, homewares (featuring some AWESOME resin cheeseboards!) and even Claire’s very own watercolour artwork prints. With a trip to C + Co, you’re guaranteed not to leave empty-handed!

The Artists Nook
Based in the beautiful Ethel Street Courtyard in Guildford lies The Artists Nook, run by long- time friends and creatives Katherine and Nicola. The Artists Nook not only showcase local handmade products, but also provide art workshops welcoming those from ALL art levels (yes, even you!). Both Katherine and Nicola highlight the importance of people being able to express themselves by creating their own artworks – their true passion! Some of their workshops include printmaking, abstract, linocut and upcycling just to name a few. The Artists Nook is the perfect space to relax, get creative and learn a new skill or browse the immense range of local wares.

Café Collective – Multiple Locations
With stores in Westfield Whitfords, Karrinyup Shopping Centre, Origins Market Busselton and pop ups in other smaller retailers, Café Collective is the ultimate handmade haven, offering a variety of products from macramé, jewellery, clothing, baby wear, ceramics, books and even gourmet food. Owners Heidi and Clint McGrath are super-passionate about supporting local creatives, hosting heaps of events at their stores including author meet and greets and small workshops.

Shopping local and handmade is one of my favourite retail adventures, with every purchase made supporting local artists and their craft. Each piece is often one-of-a-kind and makes for perfect gift ideas! Make sure to check out C + Co, The Artists Nook and Café Collective for all your handmade and workshop needs!
