CAFÉ ELIXIR
OH MY GOD, I’m sorry but that’s the only words I have to describe this place and menu!
I got to start this review by saying if you haven’t been/tried the food at Café Elixir, boy are you missing out! The all-day menu is incredible. It has a lot of options whether you’re looking for something a little healthier or if it’s your cheat day you can go all out! Located next to the Wanneroo library it has a massive outdoor area, which is undercover for those rainy days. Today Perth showed off with a 26 degrees winter day, so of course, we sat outside. I honestly didn’t even know where to start when we got our menus, it is such a fun menu with so many amazing options.
Today we started with Toblerone Cocktails, I’ve never had a cocktail quite like it before, delicious caramel topped it off, amazing.
WARM CHICKEN SALAD
The warm chicken salad is something I would be going back for 100%. Big pieces of chicken schnitzel on a bed of fresh lettuce with onions, cheese, potatoes and bacon throughout, topped off with honey mustard sauce. Incredible.
POPCORN CHICKEN BURGER
This is something my eyes would automatically go to on a menu. It was again delicious, popcorn chicken, Asian slaw and spicy mayo sauce. Simple yes, but so effective and tasted so good. Fun for kids and adults of all ages!
OREO CHEESECAKE PANCAKES
OKAY, last but not least was the Oreo cheesecake pancakes. OH MY GOD. I am left speechless. These are incredible. Massive portion size good idea to share between 2-4 people. I can’t recommend these guys enough. If you’re going to Café Elixir you’re bound to splurge and what a better meal to splurge on. 10/10
Overall, we had an amazing experience here. It’s not like anywhere I have been to Perth and I eat out a lot. If you guys haven’t been before please believe, me when I say you’re missing out and get down here ASAP. Amazing friendly staff and great venue all round.
