The Joondalup Festival returns this March after a 2 year hiatus and they are certainly making up for lost time with this year’s line up!
Running from 11th March – 2nd April there’s something for everyone, with events sprinkled throughout the City Of Joondalup, you’re sure to find something that floats your boat.
Hillarys Boat Harbour will transform into one of the major festival hubs, featuring both 18+ events and family-friendly entertainment including stand-up comedy, cabaret, live music, circus productions, roving performers and events that are fun for the adults and kids, alike.
Keep an eye out for the iconic Gold Digger Tent From Friday 11 to Wednesday 16 March. Prepare to be dazzled by show-stopping performances including stand-up comedy, cabaret, live music, circus productions and roving entertainment from Perth’s finest local artists. Suitable for adults 18 and over featuring Perth Cabaret Collective, Kinetica, Simone Craddock and much more!
Grab the whole family and come down to the harbour from Saturday 12 to Sunday 13 March and experience an action-packed Family Fun Weekend, with plenty to see and do, featuring acrobatic juggling acts, roving entertainers, and a family dance party (say no more – I’m there!)
For three consecutive weekends, Friday Night Jams delivers a jaw-dropping line up of artists featuring groovy tunes from the Steve Hensby band, Radiohead’s classic ensembles from The Amnesiacs and the sweet electro-pop sounds of Perth’s popular duo, The Liquid Project.
Westfield Whitford City will feature a pop up just for the little people in your life with performances by Scitech and Libby Hammer, there’s no better place to entertain the kids than the Kids Corner at the Dining Hub at Westfield Whitfords Shopping City.
After 5, soak up the smooth acoustic sounds from Perth’s most talented musicians while you enjoy dinner, with free performances in the evenings on Saturdays from March 19 in the dining hub.
And if soulful music is your thing – pull up a table at Risq Small Bar & Lounge in Joondalup for an evening of Jazz, across three consecutive Thursdays, 17, 24 and 31 March.
Featuring performances by Perth-renowned artists, this is one evening not to be missed. So grab a drink, sit back and relax as you take in the soothing sounds of the most influential jazz and soul.
