Free Comic Book Day – Saturday, 4th May
Did you know, that there’s an ANNUAL free comic book day on the first Saturday in May??? This global event aims to introduce new readers to the wonderful world of comics by providing independent comic book shops with FREE comics to distribute to enthusiasts. Different stores may have different policies with regards to the number of comics you can request, but here’s a sneak peek at some of the titles you can bag for free!
If none of those titles tickle your fancy, your local comic book retailer might also offer some special Free Comic Book Day deals on comics and merchandise in store. It’s a great day for comic book aficionados and some choose to attend events dressed up as their favourite comic book character. So join in on the fun and get those kids reading!
As of the time of publishing, these are the local retailers participating in Free Comic Book Day:
Collector Zone Comics and Collectables, Clarkson
