There is nothing that I love more than looking behind the scenes of a superb local business especially when they are multi-award winning! Hampers By Design stood out to me and I headed to their office in Wangara to find out more. When I chatted with the owner, Lee-Anne, her passion and love for what she does inspired me and I fell in love with this local business.
I’d like to introduce you to ‘Hampers by Design!’
Hampers by Design is a family run business that started in their home and have gone from strength to strength to their premises in Wangara and they truly live the Shop Local ethics. Taken straight from their website – check out the awards they have won;

When I went to visit I was blown away by how organised, personalized and professional they are. This is no backyard biz, this is something to sit back and be in awe of. The front door was wrapped in a bow and I thought that was a gorgeous, welcoming touch. Inside was a team of local people, friends, family and those who have become friends and family! There is a really lovely vibe in the space and I think this translates into the products they offer.
When we headed upstairs I had no idea what would greet me- racks upon racks of the MOST beautiful hampers I have ever seen in my life, and these were just the orders! There were SO many goodies from champagne to chocolate, cookies to coffee and hampers and gifts for the men too – there was just so much to take in.
I sat down to have a chat about the business and was invited to try some of the local goods. As much local product and local business as possible are used, whilst ensuring that if a product isn’t local, it is because it is the very best quality and that is what you get in these hampers. The focus is on the WOW factor and oh boy do they deliver.

If you have forgotten someone’s birthday or your anniversary, you can order before 10 am and have same-day delivery (check availability during peak times). You can also order in advance and the website is beyond easy to navigate.
There are hampers for honestly every single occasion. New babies, new homes, Christmas, Mother’s Day (hint hint!), pamper hampers, my fave the three tier hamper and SO much more. Each hamper has been specially crafted but you don’t have to stick with what they suggest. Want to add a teddy? Done. A bit more chocolate?
