The month of April is always a goodie for a foodie. The month is jam packed with long weekends and amazing events to fill the days. April has blessed us with an abundance of wining, dining and foodie festival-ing.

Here are a variety of different activities and locations to visit over the month of April. Set out of your comfort zone and go somewhere you haven’t been before.
Gin & Oysters – Perth CBD
An absolute foodie special. Enjoy an afternoon of premium Archie Rose Gin, on the gorgeous rooftop deck at Prince Lane. The best part is the oysters are… UNLIMITED. Make your way through a journey of Gin with a variety of exceptional flavours.
Plums On Ya Thumbs – Pickering Brook
Its plum pickin’ time. The perfect family activities these school holidays! Go on a tractor ride through the orchards of Core Cider, picking delicious fresh fruit along the way to enjoy. With lunch options available, spend some time in nature and enjoy some delicious food with the family.
WA’s Great Grazing Market – East Perth
The inaugural WA’s Great Grazing Market will feature a selection of fine food and wines from all over the state, along with entertainment and giveaways. Vendors at the event will be showcasing a fabulous range of local goodness. Genuinely Southern Forests will have a range of gourmet products from honey to truffle, passionfruit to macadamias, plus fresh produce boxes will also be available in limited numbers. WA Apples and Pears will also be sampling a range of beautiful new-season apples, plus giving away free apple slinkies for the kids.
Subi Walking Tour and Bar Hop – Subiaco
Two Feet and a Heartbeat Walking Tour’s presents you with a guided tour of Subiaco’s finest. Starting off the tour at Crossways Shopping centre, heading to the Bistro Felix, Refuge Small Bar and Store House. Each of these locations provide you with a beverage (alcoholic or non-alcoholic). Go on this journey through Subiaco and discover historic facts about the iconic suburb.
A Taste of Italy on Main Street – Osborne Park
If you love Italian food & culture you’ll love this! As part of Main Street Corporation’s travelling piazza series of small events, get ready for pizza specials from Posto Matto and Caffe Amaretto, Italian wine tasting, a gelato cart, live music, entertainment and free bocce. It’s an event not to be missed.
Thai Seafood Feast at Tonic & Ginger – Fremantle
Join Tonic + Ginger for an exotic banquet of spicy Thai delights, fresh from the ocean. You’re guaranteed to be hooked on every bite of the menu, masterfully curated by Head Chef, Leigh Power. Pinot Picnic – Manjimup & Pemberton
With another long weekend on the way. It’s time to get your wine and dine on. Over the Anzac Day long weekend, Southern Forrest is hosting a series of pop-up events all across the Manjimup and Pemberton regions. From a wide range of fine wine tastings, to fresh produce and fancy dinners. This weekend has it all.
Toast To The Coast – Mindarie
After 12 month’s hiatus of festivals, The Marina, Mindarie is back & super excited to bring to you Toast to the Coast – Saturday 17 April 2021 between 12-5pm. With gourmet food stalls & tastings, Western Australian wine, cider & craft beer tastings, street food stalls, live music and free kid’s activities – it’s not to be missed!
Seafood Dinner at Fleur – East Perth
Journey through the azure waters to discover delicacies from the deep blue at fleur. Chefs Chase Weber and Shane Middleton have joined forces with Kailis Bros Leederville to create a seafood dinner like no other. Seven decadent courses starring West Australian seafood to be enjoyed in true fleur-style with matching libations.
Glasshouse Dining at Brookfield Place – Perth CBD
Following last year’s sell-out success, Perth’s most exclusive Glasshouse Dining experience will return to Brookfield Place with a brand-new autumnal design theme. Enjoy delectable meals with menus from award-winning restaurants Print Hall and The Heritage Wine Bar in one of six specially designed and created glasshouses designed to seat up to four people per pod – amidst the Perth skyscrapers from Tuesday 20 April.
