It’s no secret that WA falls into the wine-lover and foodie category! Over the Anzac Day long Weekend (22nd – 25th April), Southern Forest presents us with the perfect four-day celebration, of local premium Pinot and fresh produce.
Pinot Picnic, a series of pop-up events across the Manjimup and Pemberton areas, are ideal for a little getaway with family and friends or a cheeky romantic escape. From tastings of the best Pinot, to live music and gourmet dinners; the weekend is filled with wine, food, and amazing entertainment.
So many events to choose from! Here’s an itinerary list to help you hit the best events and make the most out of the weekend.
Thursday 22nd April
You won’t want to miss the Opening Cocktail Reception on Thursday night at 6.00 pm. An introduction night looking over the Karri Forrest and enjoying samples of the best pinot wine. The night now also includes a new 5-course meal!
Friday 23rd April
Kick-start the day at 11.00 am with The Many Faces of Pinot and indulge in the ultimate tasting with a Mountford Wines Pinot Paddle, paired with delicious local produce.

Saturday 24th April
Starting the day off at the Lost Lake Winery at 11.00 am with the Pork and Pinot event. Having a picnic around a beautiful lake, feasting on Asian inspired bao buns and pinot… What more could you want!
Ending the second day with a gourmet dinner that is new to the scene. Heading to the Hidden River Estate Soirée at 6.00 pm, where they showcase a five-course meal accompanied by 12 vintages of Picardy Pinot Noir. Perfect for date night.
Sunday 25th April
Oysters and Sparkling is the best way to end a great weekend. Kicking off at 11.00 am at Lost Lake Winery, fresh shucked oysters and premium pinot is served, with an amazing view of the vineyards.

Can’t make the event? Not to worry.
At 7:30pm on Friday the 23rd of April, there will be a virtual wine-tasting event live streamed all over the world. Tall Timbers (Manjimup) will host a panel of experts and winemakers for you to tune into.
There is also a Pinot Picnic Hamper of the premium local wine and product available for all (international shipping). Get your hands on one of these and enjoy from home.
