⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A plague of chickens, magic tricks that keep going wrong, and a room full of cackling children. That is a brief summary of “Josh Staley: Wacky Wizardry Goes Wrong”.
I can say with confidence that it is a show worth attending with your kids.
I have no problem handling children (comes with the job), so I took my own kids (aged 6 and 9) and their friends (6 and 8) into the city by myself to check out this wizard!
I figured if the kids were engaged then I could gauge the show for the intended audience.
Well, they were engaged alright.
All four of the kids I brought as well as the twenty odd children and adults in the room were all laughing. They were fully mesmerised by this hilarious magician.
If you remember the old pantomimes, this is very much in that style. The audience participates, calling out whenever a chicken is found interrupting his tricks and saying magic words or expressions of “oooooh” as tricks are performed.
A lot of kids were called up on stage to help assist with the tricks, with the final one calling all the kids up for one last attempt to make a particular trick work.
This show is ideally aimed at kids between the ages of 4 to 10. The sixty minutes flew by quickly and as someone who knows a little about magic tricks, Staley’s skill in the art is very good!
However, what I really liked about this show is at the end, all kids got a red nose (from a former trick) as well as a colouring sheet. The sheet has a QR code for the kids to learn how to do a few tricks at home.
It is clear a LOT of effort has been put into this show. It is 100% worth you bringing the kids to it.
I give it a solid 5 out 5.
