Girls’ night just got serious, as QT Queens: Girl’s Night Out made its debut at the stylish QT Hotel in the heart of Perth.
The evening kicked off the right way, with a glass of bubbles in hand at the chic Santini Bar, because let’s be honest, that’s how all good stories begin.
We then regrouped in the Murray Room for an eclectic mix of acts and meet our MC, London comedian Sarah Callaghan. Sarah charmingly confessed she came to Perth for love… with a much older man. Bold. Iconic. We were in safe comedic hands.
Keeping the “international love” theme rolling, Aliya Kanani kept the laughter flowing with tales of moving from Canada to LA and falling for a much younger man. She’s now on the hunt for the secret to anti-ageing. If she finds it, we’re starting a queue.
Then things got weird (in the best way) when Cameron the Magician swallowed twelve needles (yes, TWELVE) before dramatically coughing them back out threaded on string. The collective gasp in that room could’ve powered the hotel.
tItalian charmer in search of love, Jeromaia Detto followed serving lovable beach-boy energy and spontaneous antics before Scotland’s Iain Pringle closed the show. His flowing mullet and suspiciously good ocker accent had us questioning his nationality but his accent’s actually thicker than a hearty slab of haggis.
After the laughs, guests had the opportunity of professional photos before sipping a cocktail at the stunning rooftop bar overlooking the city lights.
It was a relaxed, feel-good night out packed with personality, surprises, and some genuinely big laughs.
QT Queens: Girl’s Night Out is now showing at Fringe World until 14th February 2026.
Worth nothing: The line up of entertainers does rotate, so no two shows will be the same.
