Perth singles – are you tired of the online dating world and potentially being catfished? Would you rather meet someone face-to-face and hit it off straight away? If so, it’s time to put those dating apps away!
Coming to the Comedy Lounge is an exciting new monthly dating event, known as Sunday Singles. As its name suggests, Sunday Singles is Perth’s newest singles event with a twist. Expect a proper good time with light-hearted entertainment, laughter and the opportunity to meet new people (the old-fashioned way).
This Sunday session will be unlike any other, with standup comedy, karaoke, game shows and so much more all rolled into one action-packed evening. The best part is that it’s an organic way to make new friends or potentially meet that special someone in a fun environment. On top of skits and sets from some of Australia’s best comedians, you’ll get the opportunity to win yourself a blind date and some fabulous prizes which are up for grabs.
If you’re marvelling at this genius idea, you’re not alone. Founder of the event, Jack McAllister, identified a gap in the market after realising that there simply wasn’t much entertainment or a scene for singles in Perth. In working at the Comedy Lounge, Jack took this inspiration to the expertise of his team, which led to the creation of this event. With stage four current in Western Australia, it’d be even more apparent to have more people putting themselves out there and looking for love.
With their very first event having quickly sold out, we can tell it’s going to be a ripper of a time. For those who missed out on tickets, don’t fret; the team aims to have Sunday Singles events running weekly. In fact, they’re already preparing for Valentine’s Day in 2021, which funnily enough falls on a Sunday!
As I’m sure you would agree, we can’t wait to hear success stories from these events. So for those attending this Sunday, simply put your best foot forward and see where the night takes you.
Keep an eye out for tickets to the next Sunday Singles event – tickets on sale here for Sunday, 27 September!
