Sitting in the front row, I knew I was in for a night of being noticed, and Alison Spittle made sure of it. As MC, she instantly pulled me and the entire room in, setting the tone with her cheeky, slightly crude Irish humour that had everyone laughing and genuinely excited for what was coming next.

Abby Govindan opened the lineup with a smart, socially aware set that balanced politics and humour effortlessly. Then Dan Tiernan burst onto the stage with chaotic, awkward energy that kept me on edge in the best way. His unpredictable outbursts had me laughing harder than I expected.
Elf Lyons followed and completely owned the stage. Her energy was electric, her physical comedy was sharp, and her facial expressions were unforgettable. She was incredibly relatable and easily my favourite of the night. I was laughing so much my ribs actually hurt.
Closing the show, Alfred Adriaan brought a calm, grounded presence that was the perfect way to end. His storytelling about marriage and everyday life felt familiar, honest, and very funny.
The variety across the lineup kept everything fresh while maintaining a high standard throughout. Every act delivered something different, yet it all worked seamlessly together. By the end of the night, I had laughed nonstop and found myself nodding along to so many relatable moments.
