The Lotterywest De Parel Spiegeltent absolutely sparkled last night as Skank Sinatra swept onto the stage and promptly stole our hearts during her fabulous new show, The Show on Everyone’s Lips.
From the very first note, it was clear we were in for something special. Thw show was powerhouse vocals, slick dance moves and ravishing costumes all wrapped up in pure cabaret magic.

This two-time Best Cabaret winner at Adelaide Fringe has teamed up with musical whiz Joe Louis Robinson, and together they deliver a show bursting with energy, wit and seriously impressive live vocals. Big-band favourites like Luck Be a Lady, Cabaret and Maybe This Time were given fresh sparkle — and honestly, what a voice. Effortless, rich and commanding, Skank Sinatra knows exactly how to hold a room.
Between songs, she shared her personal “Rules of Cabaret”:
1. Make music.
2. Be a diva — but a nice diva (the kind people actually want to work with).
3. Build a diverse portfolio in the music theatre world.
It was equal parts hilarious, inspiring and refreshingly honest.
One standout moment took us all the way back to Grade 7, when she missed out on the role of Evita. Her stunning rendition of Don’t Cry for Me Argentina, performed in Danish from her hometown roots, was a true showstopper.
Add in three dynamic costume changes, legs to die for and a stage presence that crackles with charisma, and you have a cabaret experience that leaves you grinning, cheering and wanting more.
Skank Sinatra doesn’t just perform — she owns the stage. You wont want to miss this!
