They say you should always save the best for last, and my final night at this year’s Perth Fringe Festival was absolute proof! I wanted to go out with a bang, and Lash Out Cabaret delivered the entire fireworks display.

The vibe at the Lotterywest De Parel Spiegeltent was electric. There’s something so magical about a SOLD OUT WA premiere; the tent was packed, the anticipation was thick, and the energy was through the roof. This all-female, star-studded cast didn’t just perform — they commanded the room. The audience was eating out of the palms of their hands, completely captivated.

The lineup was nothing short of legendary.

Chelsea Angell kicked things off by wowing us with her high-energy hula hoop antics — the way she maintains that many hoops spinning perfectly is beyond me!

Jessica Robbins owned the air and had us mesmerised with her stunning display of high-flying aerial stunts. A total showstopper that had every eye in the Spiegeltent glued to the roof!

Maddy Longlegs left us questioning the laws of physics, twisting her body into mind-bending shapes we couldn’t even comprehend. And those legs!!

The iconic Sugar du Joure (Miss Burlesque WA) brought the house down with a signature, elegant striptease, emerging from a cupcake costume like the literal queen she is.

We were genuinely shocked by the fire-dancing and sword-swallowing of Jacqueline Fury. It was a masterclass in “don’t try this at home” brilliance!

Finally, Andrea James Lily took to the swinging aerial pole and showed it exactly who was boss with incredible strength and grace.

What an absolute powerhouse of talent under one big top! Thank you, ladies, for a brilliant last hurrah. Fringe 2026, you’ve been a dream!

Lash Out was shown at Fringe World until 15th February 2026.
