⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The “Prince of Darkness” lured us up to the Skydeck Bar in Northbridge with the promise of eternal damnation—and, more importantly, loads of laughter. We were in for a night of devilishly good impromptu comedy with Satan himself, and let’s just say, the stakes were high (and the morals were extremely low).

Emmet Nichols took the stage as a surprisingly charismatic Lucifer, on a mission to fill his quota of souls. To do it, he systematically tempted the audience through the Seven Deadly Sins: Greed, Gluttony, Envy, Lust, Sloth, Wrath, and Pride.

The “contracts” were hilariously tempting and I nearly lost it during Greed. One poor soul was ready to trade eternity for the dream of part-time hours and a hopeful scratchy. And when someone gave up their immortal soul for a packet of Tim Tams during Gluttony? I can’t even judge. I’ve made questionable snack-based decisions myself.

There’s something wildly fun about sitting in a room where everyone is confessing their “sins” while Satan prowls the stage taking notes.

Assisting the Dark Lord was the mysterious, cloaked Amelia, who spent the evening mixing sound effects and cradling Satan’s spawn. It was the perfect mix of creepy and comical.

The show turns the audience into a jury, as we confessed our sins and judged one another under Lucifer’s watchful eye. It was wicked, ridiculous and slightly unhinged.

The final, haunting question: What price would you sell your soul for?

Deal With The Devil is now showing at Fringe World until 15th February 2026.
