⭐️⭐️ and a half
We often see relationships flaunted across social media with pretty proposals or cute carousels, but we don’t see the mess that came before!
Bad Dates Anonymous brings forth the plot behind the pictures! With three standup comics sharing not only their own horrendous dating stories but yours as well!

The fifty minute storytime blends personal stories from comics and the audience by giving viewers an opportunity to submit their own poxy-passions of the past anonymously.
This is a unique concept that is hard to execute well. It will vary greatly depending on the stories submitted each night and the “on duty” comics for the night.
Unfortunately, opening night did not quite land. The audience stories felt tacked on to the end of the routine and were stumbled over at times, having not been read prior to their performance.
During the opening night, the structure felt odd and incomplete, with the comedians often falling back on jokes about homosexuality or comments on the room’s emptiness. This was disappointing given the line-up, which included Rory Lowe, Ollie Horn and Darius Davies who are all very strong comedians in their own right.
The show overall felt like a “fill-in” time slot for the comedians between their main shows and whilst could work very well, felt unprepared.
I do believe this show has great potential. Perhaps it would have been better if not for the fact that the comics had gotten off the plane that day!
