⭐️⭐️⭐️

Adults Only Magic Show begins with the MC’s monologue, heavy on dad jokes and deliberate cheesiness but he gets the audience going and ready for the magicians to enter. It really sets the tone for the show which is laddish and cheesy with willies thrown in.

The jokes are very hit or miss although some people were laughing uncontrollably throughout.

Audience participation is strong from the start and so you get the familiar split, those sitting stiffly with folded arms, and those waving frantically, eager to be chosen. The first volunteer was invited to pick from five prizes; her choice revealed “Hug”. The rest were all labelled “Anal”.

The magicians’ enthusiasm is unmistakable, and it’s evident they’ve spent years honing their skills.

They frame the show around their shared journey. From their first meeting with photographs, which is sweet, through to a devastating fire that wiped out their equipment, to rebranding and rebuilding the show we see today.

If card tricks, straight jacket escapes, willy jokes, and a heavy dose of homoerotic humour are your thing, you’ll likely have a great time. One of the magicians suggests early on that you head to the bar and load up on as many drinks as possible. And honestly, he might be onto something.

One audience member was invited to choose from five books, all with titles revolving around sex or willies. He landed on Living with a Big Willy and immediately quipped, “I’ve already got this one.”

Audience participation is where this show really shines. Thankfully, the audience members were great sports, quick on their feet, and more than happy to lean into the silliness.

Tricks are well executed, but largely standard. Think card tricks, straight jacket escapes, and a smashed phone reveal.

The two magicians have great on-stage chemistry. They were clearly enjoying themselves and feeding off the audience as they weave together illusion and sleight of hand.

That said, don’t go in expecting high-concept, risky tricks or layered adult humour. It’s a cheeky sort of show with cheeky chappy charm and if this is what you like, you’ll have a great time.

Adults Only Magic Show is now showing at Fringe World until 15th February 2026.
