Hosted in Scarborough, the atmosphere was electric from the moment we arrived. The entrance alone was a flurry of sparkling gowns, glittering tiaras and the joyful squeals of excited little ones ready to meet their idols. You could feel the anticipation building before the show had even begun.

Once underway, the performance was pure magic. Fairy Sparkle led the adventure with warmth and energy, immediately inviting all the children to come as close to the stage as possible to truly be part of the show.
Parents were surprised as they squealed at the open invitation, after being so used to strict “stay seated” theatre rules. The result was beautiful chaos in the best possible way, with wide-eyed children completely immersed in the story.
Seeing Ariel, Belle, Cinderella, Elsa and Merida brought to life right before our eyes was something special. Our kids were utterly entranced. The storyline, centred around restoring the kingdom’s crystals through song, friendship and bravery, carried lovely messages woven seamlessly between powerhouse musical numbers.
What stood out most was how interactive the show was. The princesses genuinely held space for every child who called out, responding in character and making each little voice feel heard. It felt inclusive, kind and wonderfully personal.
And special mention to Merida, that Scottish accent was committed, confident and absolutely brilliant.
This was more than a performance. It was a joyful, heart-filling experience that had children dancing, singing and believing in a little extra magic on the drive home.
If you have young royalty in your life, this is one adventure well worth booking for next year.
A Musical Adventure is now showing at Fringe World until 15th February 2026.
