Heath Franklin’s Chopper is back – and thank goodness for that because we need him in our world to keep us all on track from turning into dickheads.

This time, Chopper has travelled back from the future to save humanity from the Softcockalypse. Well, he’s giving it a good try anyway! Without giving too much away, he’s made himself a time machine and turned up to warn us all about the dangers of things like giant water bottles, gentle parenting and love languages.

Heath Franklin is in my opinion, one of the most talented comedians on stage these days. The way he bounces on and off script to riff and mine laughs from the audience is genius to watch. As breathtaking is the way he can read the room brilliantly, adjusting according to the temperature of the audience.

The crowd was a bit feral on the night we attended. Many were already inebriated, making for a lively time. Franklin handled it all like a true professional, keeping the laughs going the entire time, and not missing a beat.

With his classic foul-mouthed bravado, Franklin sets the world to rights in his shows, bringing his fresh perspective as a middle aged man to the stage. This is not a show for the sensitive, the conservative, or those who offend easily. This is an R rated show, You may not like everything you hear but you will laugh. That is a guarantee

.Heath Franklin’s run at Fringe has ended, but make sure you follow him on socials to see where he’ll pop up next!
