Unleash your inner artist at “Creative Juices”, an interactive comedy art experience. Presented by the renowned Scratch Arts, this performance stars comedian Timothy Christopher Ryan. Ryan brilliantly blends humour, creativity, and audience participation to deliver an unforgettable art-infused spectacle.
Set in the iconic Lotterywest De Parel Spiegeltent in The Pleasure Garden, Creative Juices transports audiences into a playful world where art meets comedy. Inspired by 90s children’s art shows but with a cheeky adult twist, the show invites attendees to grab drawing pads and pens, to craft their own masterpieces while enjoying Ryan’s sharp wit and boundless energy.
We literally drew ‘judgement’, which evolved as participants swapped and reimagined each other’s creations, changing what judgement can look like.
The fun ramps up with an explosive session where attendees paint Ryan in vibrant fluoro colors, culminating in bold body-print art. With nods to Greek muses, spontaneous dance parties, and loads of laughter, this is more than just an art class. It’s an unforgettable exploration of creativity, connection and fun.
Beyond the laughs, Creative Juices offers deeper reflections on the creative process. It shows how art can inspire fresh perspectives and teach powerful life lessons.
