Experience the power of music and movement as VIBRATIONS kicks off Reconciliation Week at Yagan Square Amphitheatre on 27 May, 1-3:30pm. This free, family event unites contemporary dancers with renowned violinist, vocalist, and composer Eric Avery in a celebration of our shared heritage.
VIBRATIONS shines a light on community spirit, reclaims cultural identity, and showcases the passion for music and dance. Local performances include Djirpin Djindas, Kwarbah Djookiah, Boss Arts Creative, Biguurda, Wadumbah, Corroboree for Life, and Midn Marr.
The grand finale features internationally acclaimed artist Eric Avery, who captivates with an incredible performance accompanied by local contemporary dancers. Eric is celebrated for his remarkable voice and violin skills, performing with influential artists like Yo-Yo Ma and Melbourne Symphony Orchestra.
