Named after the towering Port Jackson Fig on its open-air terrace, Perth locals may be familiar the venues predecessors, Friends Restaurant. Although the Rusty Fig is a new name to the Perth foodie scene, with Graham Jessop at the helm of the new business, and his experience in Michelin star restaurants like Heston Blumenthal’s, the shift away means the newly named Rusty Fig is in safe hands.

You’ll enjoy fine modern Australian dining at its best with the Rusty Fig. Previously known for their truffles, the new restaurant expands on that experience, with a solid six course Degustation Menu that just keeps going! From juicy Shark Bay scallops to tender Manjimup Wagyu truffle steak, the menu caters for many palates. A solid standout is the airy burnt orange souffle. Starting with a warm souffle, your server will place a ball of chocolate in the middle, allowing the delightful hot and cold experience on your tongue. A favourite we recommend.
