Fringe World, can I give MORE than 5 stars? I really think that Otto & Astrid Play The Greatest Rock ‘n’ Roll Concert You’ve Ever Seen! deserve it… no? Ok. well then let’s give this show a 5 Star +.
Otto & Astrid Play The Greatest Rock ‘n’ Roll Concert You’ve Ever Seen! is the Fringe Show that we all need right now. Total comic genius. High energy, toe tapping, arm swinging, leave your cares at the door and get involved in this reality, rocking out fun. The show that you can take your Mum, best friend and brother to. In fact, I recommend taking your siblings!
Otto and Astrid are a brother and sister duo that have it all, including very convincing German accents. This Berlin punk-pop band are back in Perth, and although this show is all about the comedy, my gosh can they play! Drums, guitar, original songs, physical comedy, the lighting.. is it obvious that I loved this show?
Punching out bangers that explore what it feels like to be a kitty, robots, lions and the hilarity of the love/hate relationships with your sister or brother, Otto and Astrid have the creativity that brings you in to their world, and you’ll never want to leave.
Walk on the wild side and get out to The State Theatre this weekend, and remember, it is Rock Bang- not Rock Band.
