Perth kids label Little Lords is the brainchild of local mum-of-2, Tash.  Little Lords is borne from the idea of creating a kids brand that reflects the Aussie lifestyle.

With a love of music, the beach and that summer festival vibe, Little Lords create kids threads with edge.

Featuring slogans & rad prints, Little Lords have a surf, skate style with a bit of a rock & roll flair… Ethically made and using only quality fabrics & materials that survive a few kids hand me downs!

You won’t find pretty frills or lace here, they’re here for the boys & the tomboys.

2022 for Little Lords will see more small-batch production which means more unique.

Little Lords is made for the kid who wants to stand out in the crowd, be comfy, look good and let their little badass personalities shine.

Lucy Jean Clothing

Lucy Jean Clothing was founded by local mum, Debra, after she struggled to find clothing for her daughter Lucy (the brands namesake) that was ethically and sustainably produced, but also looked cute!

What started as a desire to simply create dresses for her daughter to wear, turned into a first collection, with Debra enrolling in a manufacturing course in Bali.  This saw her align Lucy Jean with a manufacturer who shared her desire for ethical and sustainable production.

Lucy Jean clothing has a girly, boho vibe all made with natural fibres- in fact, there is no plastic used in the manufacturing process, including shipping – with all packaging made from cassava instead of plastic – how cool is that?

Look out for more pop-ups around Perth and some matching Mum & Me dresses next year from this local label.

Hubble +  Duke have made waves in not only our local but international children’s clothing scene. The Fremantle-based company first began years ago when owner Rosie suggested to two of her friends that they start their own children’s wear label.

They officially started by making leather baby shoes called baby ‘Moccs’ and things quickly progressed from there into t-shirts and the rest as they say, is history!

Hubble and Duke products are classic and beautifully made and Rosie works closely with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure everything is ethically made.

You can browse their online store for a wide range of super-cute babies and kids clothing, shoes and accessories (our faves are the jelly sandals!) Or pop in and say hello at their modern Freo shopfront to score yourself one of their best-selling pieces.

It is so refreshing to see these fab Perth businesses move away from the fast-fashion model of manufacture and embrace production that considers the planet we’ll be leaving to the little people wearing their amazing designs. That’s a pretty good reason to add-to-cart if you ask us!
