A beautiful rags to riches story brought to life on stage, Anastasia the Broadway musical is a dazzling theatrical experience.
Based on the beloved story of Grand Duchess Anastasia Nikolaevna of Russia, this production blends romance, history, mystery and adventure into a captivating night at the theatre. From the moment the curtain rose, I was completely drawn into the world of imperial Russia and the journey that unfolds.

The costumes throughout the production were absolutely stunning. Every performer looked incredible, with detailed period pieces that helped transport me to a time I could only dream about.
The vocals were first class. Each performer brought their character to life with confidence and clarity, their voices effortlessly filling the theatre. It was impressive to listen to the strength and control of the cast as they delivered each musical number.
The dancing was elegant and beautifully choreographed. I especially loved the ballet sequences, which added a graceful and magical quality to the show. The movement across the stage felt fluid and enchanting, enhancing the storytelling and emotional moments.
The love story at the heart of the show had me completely captivated. The romantic in me couldn’t look away. Georgina Hopson as Anya was my favourite performer of the night, bringing warmth, vulnerability and strength to the role. I also loved seeing Rhonda Burchmore as Countess Lily. As expected, her performance was elite and she brought wonderful charisma and humour to the stage.
Anastasia is truly a show for all ages, from the young to the young at heart. It is a magical production filled with heart, beauty and unforgettable performances. I know I absolutely loved it.
Anastasia the Musical is now showing until 28th March 2026.
