We recently attended the Academy of Magic show at Glowing Rooms 3D Mini Golf, and it was such a memorable experience for the whole family.
From the moment we arrived, each child was given a small gift, instantly sparking curiosity. It took everything in my daughter not to open it, but temptation won! Inside she found a finger, a red cloth, two pieces of paper, and a furry little friend. Naturally, this only raised more questions and before we knew it, the show had begun.
The show followed an Alice in Wonderland theme, and the father-and-daughter magician duo couldn’t have been cuter. They kicked things off with several magic tricks that genuinely left us in awe, then moved on to teaching the audience how to practice magic themselves. Even the adults were completely hooked and eager to give it a go.
What really stood out was how interactive the show was. Many lucky audience members were invited up to help perform tricks, making everyone feel included.
We recommend arriving early to grab seats near the front for the best view. That said, the magician does a fantastic job of walking down the aisle and engaging with those seated further back as well.
The show wrapped up with a few more impressive tricks using items found in the showbag, which is available for purchase at the end. It is an exciting way for kids to keep the magic going at home.
This show is perfect for children aged 3+, and even kids around 12 who initially weren’t keen ended up staying back afterward, asking for more magic tips. That alone says it all.
A truly magical, family-friendly experience and absolutely worth attending.
