⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Retro Lights has returned for another year at Fringe. Brought to you by local talent All The Lights Entertainment, this is a vibrant, high-energy show that blends LED lighting and a fantastic nostalgic soundtrack with circus and dance.
Performing in the intimate setting of The Hat Trick at the Pleasure Garden, this is a great wholesome, family-friendly experience, with early session times making it accessible for all ages. The audience was made up of children and adults of all ages, which was great to see. My tween-ager loved it, she didn’t want the show to end.
Each act uses a different light form to create a visually stunning display. From LED hula hoops to shimmering fabrics, glowing costumes and glow sticks, the effects are mesmerising. Even Perth musician Mark Turner’s saxophone got the LED treatment, glowing in sync with the upbeat music.
The fire dance routine was our favourite part of the set. It was a performance that had the audience captivated. The choreography, combined with the visuals and dynamic energy made this act a true spectacle.
Retro Lights is a celebration of light, sound, and movement. It’s a joyful show that just makes you feel happy as you bop along to the great music and become entranced with the light show. If you’re looking for a show that’s engaging, fun and family-friendly, this is one to add to your Fringe lineup. Prepare to be dazzled and entertained!
Retro Lights is showing on weekends throughout Fringe until 16th Feb.
