Access all ARIEL of Disney tunes with Enchanted Dreams at Fringe this summer! Held at the De Parel Spiegeltent in The Pleasure Garden, this magical, family-friendly production is a must-see for Disney lovers of all ages. From start to finish, the show delivers a fun and vibrant experience that captivates both kids and adults alike.
The costume changes were stunning, bringing each character to life in vivid detail. The whimsical character interactions added a playful touch, with Alexander Circosta’s witty quips creating moments of laughter and charm throughout. Ana (Aidan Hordov) was a standout performer, showcasing her incredible talent as she switched effortlessly between acoustic and electric guitar. Her ability to combine music with her performance was truly impressive.
Audience interaction was a highlight of the evening, especially for the younger crowd, who were completely enchanted by the characters engaging with them. As adults, we noticed some interesting artistic decisions. For example, Cinderella was singing an Ana song and Moana only danced while Elle sang for her. While these choices stood out to us, the children were completely unfazed. They fully immersed in the magic.
The show was packed with humour, vibrant costumes, cleverly adapted lyrics and an engaging atmosphere that kept the audience entertained. The meet-and-greet at the end added a special touch, making the experience even more memorable for the kids.
Set in the heart of The Pleasure Garden, Enchanted Dreams is a colourful celebration of Disney magic, perfect for a fun summer outing. Highly recommended
