Dressed with over 2500 stems of bright coloured florals, Summer nights in Perth just got an unmissable place to drink cocktails and pose for quality ‘gram content.
Inspired by old equestrian clubs, The Canter Club at the Crown Casino boasts horse riding aesthetic, delicious themed cocktails and matching seasonal menus, and it opens just in time for the spring racing season.
As a writer that spent several weekends of my twenties running a pop up bar at Royal Ascot in the UK, I couldn’t wait to look at the food and drinks pairings that feature in this unique themed pop up right in the centre of the Metropolitan Lobby of the Crown Plaza.
Pink Gin High Tea
Perfect for ladies day, the Gordon’s Pink Gin High tea looks like the best way to sip away an afternoon, surrounded by lush flowers. There’s three packages available. The top package includes cocktails and there’s one with bubbles. All the packages come with a sharing platter and coffee & tea. It’s available until 13th November, but they recommend booking in advance.
Petit Fleur
The name means little flower, and this pink gin cocktail is packed with summery fruit flavours like lemon and strawberry, but complemented with hints of rose. Yes, that is a macaron on the glass.
1930s Cosmo
This really excited me. Ketel One Citreon is one of the most underrated vodkas and it’s great to see it used to create a modern twist on a classic cocktail. Curaco, raspberry syrup and egg white round off this cocktail which the Crown have boasted will taste ‘as good as it looks.’
Enchanted Rosé
As a Brit, they had me here at Tea and Vanilla infused Tanqueray. One of my favourite gins, infused with two flavours I love to see in a cocktail. Perfect for celebrating spring, this one also boats rose, lycee, lemon and flavoured smoke. Also… look at that presentation! It’s like someone poured out the start of a fairytale in liquid form.
The first rule of Canter Club is that we all rave about Canter Club. Don’t hold your horses, book now at the Crown Website.
