The Fall/Winter Fashion Trends You Need and Where to Find Them

Hey guys,

Jordan kay back again.

This week I wanted to talk to you about affordable, stylish fashion trends.

As we start getting back out and about after a few months in lockdown it’s time to dive into our wardrobes and create some new trendy looks. I always get questions about my personal style and things I wear. Having a styling/personal shopping background I learned a lot about fashion and the importance of taking risks. Fall/Winter season is the best time of year to get out of your comfort zone and try new things. One of my favourite things to do is layer. You can go simple with a nice tee and skinny jeans layer it with a nice blazer or coat and add a touch of my own personal style, crossbody bag over the outfit to really tie it all together. Fresh sneakers and you’re good to go.

Midseason season sales are just around the corner and its my favourite time of year to shop. Get your wallet ready; If you’ve been eyeing off a fresh pair of sneakers or think it’s time to update your winter wardrobe there’s no time like the present.

Anybody who knows me knows that Zara is my go-to shop for all things new. The fashion house is always up to date with new trends and styles. Whether it be suit shopping or finding the latest street style you know you’ll find it here. The price is good for what you get. Great quality across the board with all their styles. Pictured below you see a maroon coloured suit purchased from Zara styled with black turtle neck knit. The suit cost $220 and will be a key piece in my wardrobe this winter.  Check out my Instagram over the next few months to see how I style it (@jordank_). What do you like about Zara? Or have you ever been to Zara? Let me know in the comments below!

You can find Zara on Muarry Street Perth CBD and Westfield Garden City.

Banx is a modern high-end streetwear label from Perth. Established in 2014 the label has made a big mark on the fashion scene. The brand brings together modern trends and cutting edge looks with a twist. If you’re looking for your next high quality, unique wardrobe piece this is the place to go. Below you’ll find images of the new essential range, after 4 years of learning the game and perfecting the quality, this is a collection you don’t want to miss out on.  Stocked exclusively at Cabinet Noir, Raine Square. Make sure you check it out on your next trip to the city. You won’t be disappointed with what you find and the best part of all, it’s a local brand for us all to love and support in these times.

Uniqlo is new on my list for go-to shops to visit here in Perth. I am genuinely obsessed with this place lately. For your wardrobe basics this place is a must. I purchase all my basic tees and knits from uniqlo and the quality is insane. Supima cotton t-shirts are a dream. So comfy and have all different fits. Easy to care for and machine washable and retailing for $14.90 you really can’t go wrong. They also have knits, in all different styles turtleneck, v neck and crew. The latest addition to my wardrobe from uniqlo is my teddy bear jumper. Pictured below it’s the perfect addition to my winter wardrobe. Stylish, comfy and so warm. Check out the range in store now. Would you buy one?

You can find Uniqlo on Muarry Street Perth CBD and Westfield Carousel.

If bold prints are your vibe, then this one is for you. This sport/resort luxe label designed here in Perth is known for its outspoken prints and flamboyant attitude. Perfect to mix and match with a classic pair of jeans and loud shirt. One of my favourite trends is to play with prints and colours. It’s one of my favourite brands to visit and they are stocked all across Perth. You can shop exclusively online from the link below or by appointment in the Fremantle Studio. Stockist around Perth also include Periscope, Northbridge and Ilka Family Store, Mount Hawthorn.

If you guys have any questions about the places listed above or any questions about style and trends comment down below and I’ll be sure to answer them all!

Also I’d love to to see your looks, so use the #NOTJUSTAESTHETICS on your socials so we can see all your winter style trends.

Until next time,

Jordan Kay.
