Screening and panel discussion of short doco investigating one of WA’s most infamous crimes: the murder of Cyril Gidley in 1925.

WA Reflections brings the State Library’s collections to life through five innovative documentary short films. Murder on the Dancefloor investigates one of WA’s most infamous crimes: the murder of Cyril Gidley by his spurned lover Audrey Jacob at the Government House Ballroom in 1925.

Join the Governor of Western Australia Kim Beazley for a screening and panel discussion which dives into this fascinating case and provides a chance to learn how it was brought to life on screen.
