Sunday Funday at the Fremantle Reclink Community Cup
October 10 @ 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm AWST
Reclink Australia is thrilled to announce that the most talked about and iconic event on the community calendar – The Reclink Australia Community Cup – is back in 2021. The Fremantle Reclink Community Cup is on Sunday, October 10 and this year’s theme, ‘Talking to a stranger’ by the Hunters & Collectors, is inspired by community connection which is echoed through the Reclink Australia Community Cup events.
The Fremantle Reclink Community Cup promises to be a great day of community, fundraising, music, and of course grassroots footy, as the The Bandgropers (musicians) take on the Newshounds (media).
“We look forward to seeing you all at the return of the Reclink Community Cup for an exciting day of grassroots footy, and music. Thank you for your ongoing support.” Sarah Kitis, Reclink Australia State Manager, Western Australia.
While the Coach and Captains of both teams are yet to be announced, footy is the star on the day of the Cup but the event is just also renowned for its incredible bill of pre-match, half-time, and post-match bands. We are thrilled to announce that Frank’s Fish Tank, Last Quokka, and Pat Chow will be a part of this year’s line-up. Plus Tom Fisher as MC and kids activities throughout the day.
Huge thanks to WA state sponsor Otis Mineral Glass Eyewear and team supporters Clancy’s Fish Pub and Port Beach Garden Bar, plus national sponsors Gage Roads Brewing Co and MEAA.
The Community Cup is an incredibly fun day full of family-friendly entertainment, the incredible football match itself augmented by live music from a host of local bands and artists as well as bars, food trucks, and a relaxed atmosphere that emphasises community and team spirit.
The Reclink Community Cup provides a valuable contribution to Reclink’s annual fundraising efforts. With your generous support, we can bridge the gap of funding lost in 2020 and continue to support our local communities through Reclink’s programs.
So get amongst it this October – tickets are available now at communitycup.com.au – just $15 for big kids and $8 for the under 18s, or $30 for the family, it’s sure to be a fun day out! Visit their website for more at communitycup.com.au/fremantle
