Repair Cafe Perth

June 18 @ 9:00 am - 11:30 am

We are back! We will be taking COVID-19 precautions with distancing as advised.
Repair Cafe Perth is a monthly community event where visitors bring in broken items and learn to fix them with the help of a volunteer expert.
This month’s event will be held at North Perth Town Hall, 26 View St, North Perth WA 6006. It will be have signs for Repair Cafe Perth. It’s between Charles and Fitzgerald Streets.
Please come 15 minutes before event closing to allow volunteers time to chaperone, assess, repair and/or give advice.
Bring your broken items from home! Volunteer experts will be available to help you make repairs. We can help with:
– clothing
– bikes
– toys
– limited electrical items (more info below)
– small furniture items
– stuff that needs gluing
– other household items
– advice for laptops/smart phones/tablets (bring your charger)
We can only work on electrical faults for items that have an AC adapter or are battery powered, but not anything that plugs directly into a power point without an adapter (however, we can provide contact details for a paid electrician service that accepts repair jobs at their premises for anything we can’t tackle).
For larger items we say if you can carry it in your arms, bring it in – so no dining tables please 🙂
